I am a Parekh IBL Research Postdoctoral Assistant Professor in Mathematics at the University of Michigan. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, where I was advised by Prof. Peter Perry, with a dissertation on the large-time asymptotics of the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili I (KP I) equation. I am currently mentored by Prof. Peter Miller.
My research focuses on nonlinear partial differential equations, integrable systems, inverse scattering, Riemann–Hilbert problems, and asymptotic analysis, with applications in applied mathematics and mathematical physics.
With an interdisciplinary background spanning mechanical engineering, physics, and mathematics, I approach research by combining computational techniques with physical intuition. I am also interested in applied mathematics in engineering, where methods from integrable systems and asymptotic analysis play a central role in addressing complex real-world problems.
